Veterinary practice software for appointments, patient records and GOT — in one app
Tierarztpilot combines appointment calendar, patient records, prescriptions and GOT-compliant billing into one workspace. Less paper at reception, less chaos between treatment and invoice, more time for the animal.
| Time | Patient | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| 08:00 | Bella (Labrador) — Vaccination | 15 min |
| 08:30 | Mia (cat) — Check-up | 20 min |
| 09:15 | Rex (GSD) — Surgery | 90 min |
| 11:00 | Luna (rabbit) — Dental | 30 min |
Built with veterinary practices across Bavaria, NRW and Berlin
Appointments in a paper diary, patient records in binders, GOT billing in your head — the practice runs on too much manual work.
Appointments in a paper diary
Reception books appointments by phone; every emergency topples the plan. Pet owners call back to confirm, you explain the same procedure three times. Fifteen minutes per case, every day — time that should go to the animal.
Patient records in binders
Vaccination history, prior conditions, last treatment — in a paper binder or scattered across three systems. In an emergency every minute counts, and you're flipping through cards instead of acting.
GOT billing errors
In the evening, the assistant reconciles treatments in the GOT system — wrong items, factor forgotten, invoice off. Corrections cost the owner patience and you revenue.
From the call at reception to the GOT invoice — in one view.
Calendar with pet-owner self-booking
Owners book routine appointments themselves via the web practice page — you see new bookings live. You slot in emergencies in seconds; affected appointments shift automatically and owners are notified. Fifteen minutes at reception becomes five seconds.
- Web booking for owners (routine, vaccination, check-up)
- Automatic SMS and email reminder 24h ahead
- Emergency slot-in with automatic reallocation
- Multi-calendar for 2 to 8 vets in parallel
| Vet | Slots | Utilisation |
|---|---|---|
| Dr. Weber | 18 / 20 | 90% |
| Dr. Bauer | 16 / 20 | 80% |
| Dr. Fischer | 14 / 18 | 78% |
| Dr. Wagner | 17 / 20 | 85% |
Patient records with full history in three clicks
Vaccination history, prior conditions, medications, last treatment — all under the patient name. In an emergency you see the history before the owner finishes talking. One click on 'similar cases' shows how you treated comparable patients.
- Full patient record per animal
- Vaccination history with automatic recall
- Photo and radiograph filing at the patient
- Search across diagnoses and treatments
| Patient | Species | Last visit |
|---|---|---|
| Bella (Labrador) | Dog | Mar 07 |
| Mia (BSH) | Cat | Mar 05 |
| Rex (GSD) | Dog | Mar 07 |
| Luna (dwarf) | Rabbit | Mar 06 |
GOT items generated automatically from treatment

- GOT-number suggestion based on diagnosis
- Factors 1× to 3× freely selectable per item
- Invoice by email or print straight from the app
- DATEV export and SEPA payment run for your accountant

What veterinary practices ask us before the demo
How much does Tierarztpilot cost?
Tierarztpilot costs $119/month with all modules included — appointment calendar, patient records, GOT billing and owner portal. Up to 8 vets and unlimited patients included, monthly cancellation, no setup fee.
Is the billing really GOT-compliant?
Yes. All items follow the current Gebührenordnung für Tierärzte, including factors 1× to 3×, emergency surcharge and Sunday surcharge. When GOT updates land, we update the numbers centrally — you don't have to adjust anything.
Can we migrate from Vetera or easyVET?
Yes. Patient records, vaccination histories and open invoices come in via the standard export from Vetera, easyVET and similar systems. A migration session is part of onboarding — we take over the existing data and run the first treatment day together with you.
Does the patient record work on the treatment table?
Yes. iPad, Android tablet or phone — the app is offline-capable and syncs automatically as soon as WiFi is back. Photos, notes and diagnoses are captured at the patient, not later from memory.
Is the patient record GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Tierarztpilot runs from a Frankfurt data centre under an Article 28 GDPR data processing agreement. Patient data is encrypted, access is logged. Veterinary confidentiality vs. authorities is preserved.
How fast can we go live?
Typical time from kick-off to your first treatment in Tierarztpilot is seven working days. We import your patients, set up the calendar and GOT templates, and train your team in one 90-minute session.
Less paper at reception. Less chaos before invoicing. More time for the animal.
We're opening Tierarztpilot in March to 15 veterinary practices across DACH. If you want to be one of them, book a 30-minute demo — we'll walk through appointments, patient records and GOT billing using your own practice as the example.
